The 20 kg university class microsatellite platform MS-'Ex' is intended for scientific and technological experiments in space, and also for solution of different tasks for any institutions willing to confirm their product capacity for work in space conditions. The main purpose of participation in the project was to develop a low-cost space professional platform at up-to-date technological level. The following objectives of the project were formed: - to organize a high performance and motivated designing young professionals team; - to create an university-industrial co-operation; to develop the technical tasks and scope for pilot project; - to develop the directive documents and agreements according to the ESA's standards; - to develop the design-layout scheme, conduct calculations of dynamics, attitude control, power, radio-line and other subsystems including satellite's orbit parameters; - to complete, test and launch the microsatellite platform with the partner's payloads.
