The features of Navajo, a ROV system produced by the Aberdeen-based SubAtlantic, are discussed. The Navajo features a streamlined shape and high power thrusters, which allow working in high currents. The hydrodynamically formed frame is manufactured from high impact and corrosion resistant polypropylene. The vehicle is propelled by SubAtlantic's SPE-75 wet thrusters. An imaging module is located at the front of the vehicle. The main system components include Surface Control Unit, the Hand Controller and the Umbilical. The vehicle is designed to attach dedicated work packages and manipulator systems.
