The results of a non-linear finite-element method (FEM) analysis of the influence on pipeline integrity of dents, corrosion loss of the metal on the outer surface of the pipe and laminations of the pipeline web were presented. Calculations were performed using the step method for a sequence of pressure values. The discrepancy of forces values in the knots of the mesh was used as the conversion criteria of the iterations and discrepancy of 0.1% was taken as the ultimate relative allowable value.
