At its annual shoew DuPont Performance Coatings (DPC) traditionally presents trends specifically developed for the auto industry, whose designers select new colour ideas. As much must be done not only on technological tests but also on the needs of the automotive customers. These colours usuall appear on the streets some three years later. Under the motto 'Colour Match 2006/2007' this year's show comprises almost 60 styling colours to present the colour trends of the coming model year for the European automotive market. The fact that colours will increasingly be an important design element is best reflected in the orange/red/purple theme. Colours that are clear and brilliant but never brash, convey a positive feeling. The Colour Show also includes a new interpretation of silver, currently the number one automobile colour. Soft effects enter the playground to replace the more technological shades. Promising players are also to be found on the beige/brown/gold playground.
