An overview of the modeling of the hydraulic pipelines is presented. The mathematical model of the flow of a liquid through a deformable pipeline can be represented by the continuity equation and the momentum equation. Solving these equations, we can obtain the flow and the pressure in any moment of the time and in any point along the pipeline. The analytical solution of these equations with partial derivatives of hyperbolic type arise many difficult problems. Three types of methods for solving the equations, which model the flow through hydraulic pipelines are analyzed: classical methods, graphical methods and frequencial methods. The obtained mathematical models are investigated through computer simulation.
