This review focuses on CFLOOR, a software package from Roxar Software Solutions who have been involved in hydrographic projects since 1987. A screenshot is used to show the layout of the CFLOOR project panel. That panel enables an operator to have access to the complete range of data sets and software functionality on any given project. A data container concept is used with containers named for the data they carry such as sensor data where depth, position, roll and pitch are to be found. In the geographic container coastline and navigation data are stored. Six typical containers are described. The software is capable of terrain modelling and dredging/volume calculations, both described here. The software is used by some 80 organisations around the world including river authorities and Navies.
