In this work, the application of the method of evaluation of fatigue reliability to the frame of the body of a city transport vehicle is described. The lifetime of the frame and its reliability in service from the viewpoint of fatigue failure was determined. Modelling investigations were carried out to determine for the expected service the value of minimum safety which must be guaranteed during standard service. A diagram is plotted enabling mapping of the fatigue reliability of the frame on the basis of the characteristics of the recorded loading process in the required area. All the examined areas are included in the region of safe and reliable service. The proposed frame satisfies, from the viewpoint of fatigue reliability, the requirements of the expected city service, or the value of safety is sufficient to cover the occurrence of the expected nonstandard loading situations. The scatter of the material properties represented by the Wöhler curve decreases the value of safety in the loading by approximately 0 - 20 %.
