The significance of changing the body side-slip angle through modifying the roll axis inclination was presented. This may have a considerable effect on the drivers ability to control the vehicle due to the increased body side-slip angle and the side-slip angle error. It is recommended that on-centre steering sensitivity is not reduced by the addition of large amounts of steering or suspension compliance. Instead the on-centre region should be adjusted kinematically through the use of variable ratio steering. In addition further study of the driver's input cue formation is required to determine if the driver is able to distinguish between actual body side-slip angle and the corrupted body side-slip angle.
