A system was developed for the planning, monitoring and control of space-time critical processes for airport resource allocation. The traditional user interface uses two-dimensional graphics like Gantt charts and event networks, which show the duty and action sequences but not the spatial relationship on the airport. The system was extended by a three-dimensional visualization. The space-time relation can be visualized by animations, transparency or other graphic attributes and Gantt chart. Location-related resource allocation is realized by context-sensitive drag and drop operation and context-menu on selection invoking edit forms.
