In this paper we deal with robust control method for nonlinear dynamical model of electro-hydraulic servo-drive. The mathematical analysis of physical effects in servo-drive was carried out. This model is implemented in the software environment of Matlab. The structure of the model is shown in such a way to present the graphical relationships between individual physical parameters and components for this system. it allowed us to introduce different kinds of controllers. In the paper, there are shown simulation results of 'traditional' control methods and compared with robust control method. We design robust control law using the procedures of the Matlab Toolboxes. It is appeared the actuator with robust controller works properly in the wide range of the operation point values. It has good static and dynamic characteristics. The comparison allows us to choose the proper solution of control system for given practical application of electro-hydraulic actuator with digital control.
