Considering the stratospheric ozone depletion, greenhouse gases global increase and acid rain, earth atmosphere observation and monitoring with space-borne instruments are essential. Since the middle of the 1990s, NEC has focused on the development of an atmosphere observation sensor. At first the authors simply manufactured the sensor hardware, such as the ILAS-II/EGS. NEC has extended its development area into a total integration system including mission proposing, mission analysis, manufacturing the hardware and science data analysis. Recently, NEC started developing both SOFIS (The Solar Occultation FTS for Inclined-orbit Satellite) and ODUS (Ozone Dynamics Ultraviolet Spectrometer). These projects are introduced in this paper.
