Within the framework of this project a CO2-absorbing material was developed. Approximately 2 m2 of this material would keep the exhaled air for 1 hour/one person clean. Additionally, a humidity adsorbing material was developed. At 98% relative humidity and 20 degree C, the developed moisture adsorbing material is able to adsorb between 80 and 90 wt.% moisture. After 10-15 h the adsorption is accomplished. The moisture-laden material can be regenerated within a short time.
