This paper deals with a model approach of hull structure, reinforced inside by a system of interwined girders. This hull model or thin-walled beam, with closed cross sections, is generally used in aeroplane carlingues, ship hulls... The idea is to reduce the construction formed from a set of sheet metal, reinforced by skeletal structure, into a construction formed only from sheet metal, but perfectly simulate initial model behavior. Then, frame-shell theory is used to study the construction behavior under different load cases.
