A new design of the active part of a low-speed motor with permanent magnets and a nontraditional circuit for its windings is proposed, which require a new approach to the analysis of the magnetic circuit and operating characteristics of the machine. A method for a verification analysis is proposed. Test samples of a number of motors for gearless drives of light-weight transport vehicles have been designed and tested at ZAO Inkar. Experimental results and analytical data are compared which completely confirms the validity of the mathematical model.
