Multifabs Survival has developed the Gore-Tex Aberdeen fabric 500 series to replace the 459 series. The design includes: a new zip configuration; an integrated leg gaiter; newly styled new gusset; a shaped and modified sock and a hyperstretch neck- and wrist-seals. The fabric is made from a combination of DuPont's meta-aramid, Nomex, which gives the flame-retardant properties, and viscose, which provides good feel and comfort. The fabic is used for flightsuits for overwater helicopter crews.
