Aircraft heading all-attitude reference system, an/asn-110, developed by bendix, designed to fill a dual role as a backup to a full inertial navigation system or as a stand-alone precision reference. Pitch, roll, heading, autopilot information are supplied by the equipment, best available true heading through a magnetic variation feature when inertial navigation system is unavailable or not installed. Two major components: A gyroscopeelectronics unit and a controller unit.
