The demand for reliable marine use no-break power supplies has increased due to vessel automation resulting from recent changes in the social and economic situation. In responding to these demands, fuji electric has developed a highly efficient and reliable automatic parallel operating unit, sequential starting selection unit and other auxiliary equipment. An automated power supply system matching each marine use power supply specification was completed and placed in practical use. In this article, the automatic power supply system is studied and its components (Automatic parallel operating equipment and sequential starting selection equipment) outlined.
