This paper describes the design and test results of an x-band reflect-array antenna system for airborne applications. the antenna system consists of a circular planar array of 2400 open-ended rectangular waveguide radiators terminated in a digital 2-bit coaxial reflective pin diode phase shifter. the antenna has a peak sidelobe level of 26 db, a gain of 34 db, a weight of 105 pounds, and operates over a frequency band of 8.5 percent.
