The use of electronic methods of measurement in the motor industry has increased rapidly over the last few years, as the need to design vehicles for maximum performance and reliability at minimum cost has become increasingly essential and the motorist has become progressively more demanding in these matters and in his concern with handling, noise, safety and mechanical sophistication.
