This paper describes the various techniques which can be used to reduce the power requirements of telemetry equipments for satellites, and the limitations of these techniques as regards weight, reliability, noise immunity and speed of the circuits. Among the techniques described: Low power flip-flops and counters decoding logic circuits with pulsed power analog circuits power supply efficiency and pulsed power supplies.
