With reference to the German-Dutch Wind Tunnel a method is discussed for correcting the results of measurements with passenger cars made in a closed test section of a wind tunnel. The correction procedure distinguishes between solid and wake blockage correction. The evaluation of the solid blockage factor is based on the work of C.N.H. Lock, whilst the determination of the wake blockage factor is based on the work of E.C. Maskell, A. Thom and H. Glauert. The results attained on 6 different cars are discussed and compared with those corrected with the area-ratio correction method.
