Descriptions of process planning and introduction of four different assembly systems are included. The target of the contribution is to provide future assembly process solutions based on the experience of these four applications. The applications are in the fields of engine assembly, trim assembly, trim subassembly and final assembly. To increase the number of realized projects, there are some guidelines carried out to meet the ROI requirements and cost-effective assembly solutions.
