Penetrating into the submarine medium increasingly requires hulls and structures of light and strong materials and, in this respect, composite materials are quite well-situated thanksto their well-known and remarkable strength. Supplying composite materials equipment realizable from an economic point of view makes it necessary to know the problems involved together with the general technical solutions which are made possible, at the present time, thanksto this material. This report is only intended to outline this double 'inventory' and more specially to point out our own achievements in this field.
