Extrude Hone's research and development has created an accelerated acceptance throughout the metal industry. Successful solutions are applied to difficult and diverse, edge and surface finishing problems. Advancements in tooling design and media formulation have allowed Extrude Hone's 'non-traditional' method to be used as a machining method in addition to a finishing process. Practical applications span a wide range of high production, commercial components to critical aerospace, aircraft and medical components. Accurate sizing and edge forming of close tolerance components are also realized by abrasive flow finishing.
