The conventional coupling operation counts for a high rate of injuring accidents, requires the operator to get off and on the tractor several times and to perform heavy and dirty work in very bad working postures. Quick couplers and aids as telescopic ends of the lower links on the tractor, give a better and safer working situation and also save time and often one extra person for helping. The Accord and A-draget 'automatic' couplers have given the best results concerning safe and easy coupling, but have some problems concerning practical fitting to equipment. Of-two-stage couplers Walterscheid is most in use and seems to be a good aid for the operator. New developed hitch-hook systems and automatic coupling of the power-take-off shaft along with the Accord coupler, have considerably reduced problems with bad working posture and irritation and stress because of bad visibility and troublesome, dirty and dangerous coupling.
