The difficulties in painting vehicle interiors are discussed including poor working conditions and low quality. The use of industrial robots, while not resolving all problems (ventilation for example), makes it possible to obtain the desired quality. Two examples of robot installations are presented, one for a passenger car and the other for a van. (Peters)
