The OMS Engine Assembly has satisfactorily completed extensive development tests under a wide range of operating conditions. Presented are the results of tests which examined operating characteristics of the engine at abnormal operating conditions. Specific abnormal tests discussed are: abort restart, gas ingestion, purge valve failure, propellant tank pressure blowdown, and propellant depletion. Also presented are results of a test series conducted at extreme off-design conditions to demonstrate the cooling capability of the regeneratively cooled chamber. Development tests have verified that specification performance will be met during the planned qualification test series. (Se)
