LM 2500 Engines have been in operation in U.S. Navy ships since September, 1975. This is an update of a previous ASME paper given in March, 1977, which presented the operational experience of the LM 2500 to that time. Included in this paper will be the reliability achieved thus far plus the improvements that are projected from the ongoing component improvement program. The application of the engine to a wide spectrum of ships in 11 foreign navies is also covered. (Wassmann)
