Results of a development program for an Integrated Power Unit (IPU) combining the functions of the Accessory Power Units (APU) and Emergency Power Units (EPU) for the aircraft are presented. The design and testing of two gas generators using gaseous oxygen (GOX) and JP.4 propellants are discussed. Subsequent design and test results for an IPU engine starter demonstrator that used one of the gase generators are also presented. (Peters)
