The major goals of the High Efficiency Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) Solar Cell program have been met. An AMO efficiency of 17.5 percent was achieved. Radiation resistance of the cell without loss of efficiency was optimized, thus improving suitablitiy of the cell for space missions. (Peters)
