Describes the US Army's development program to provide a remotely piloted vehicle (RPV) system, called Aquila. The system being developed Lockheed Missiles and Space Company to perform target acquisition, aerial reconnaissance and artillery adjustment missions. The system consists of a ground control station, data link, launcher, air vehicle, recovery system and support equipment.
