Describes the Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) support to current systems such as Cruise Missile, Pershing, and flight simulators as background, leading up to what DMA envisions as the needs of the C3I community. The article discusses DMA support to these systems such as PAVE MOVER, and includes the identification of some systems that are being developed without DMA support. A summary describes the concerns, from a DMA viewpoint, regarding support to C3I development.
