For pt.I see ibid., vol.55, no.673, p.59-66 (1983). A number of topics concerned with the problems of testing sophisticated car electronics are discussed. The increasing use of more complex systems has made it necessary to employ ATE for economic and reliable testing. The application of ATE method to such testing is considered, taking electric ignition, fuel injection and hydraulic brake systems as particular examples in this area.
