The MAGIS/IAC and LHA-IC systems greatly increase the operational capability to receive, store and process tactically generated information and disseminate tactical intelligence. They represent initial attempts within the Navy and Marine Corps to automate intelligence processes utilizing fully qualified hardware. The developed system software expands the operator's capability by linking the man to the information and then to the field through automated communications.
