Discusses the analysis of two hypothesized networks utilizing TDMA techniques for data terminal and computer to computer communication intended to survive network damage. The article presents the results of a comparison of a switched network and distributed network utilizing radio and satellite resources for communications under stressed conditions, in addition to the results of an investigation utilizing a Network Control Center (NCC) to maintain network performance. In particular, the effects of an NCC in monitoring and controlling traffic, link loss and node loss are discussed.
