A description is given of the concept for the deployment of a 600 ft. diameter radar system using the space shuttle. The configuration could be used for tracking ships, aircraft, cruise missiles, ICBMs, and possibly armoured vehicles, and could have in-built redundancy in the event of a physical assault. The finished structure consists of four prefabricated modules that can be connected near the shuttle or in high-earth-orbit.
