Due for delivery in 1979 are two prototypes of what may become Belgium's standard provincial light rail vehicle. One will be used on the La Panne to Knokke line along the coast, and the other will enter service in Charleroi where a comprehensive semi-metro network is emerging. The cars, being built by Constructions Ferroviaires et Metalliques, will feature chopper control equipment supplied by ACEC of Charleroi.
