The LASR 2 is an airborne medium range maritime surveillance radar with navigation, weather detection, and station-keeping capabilities. It has a powerful power output of 100 kW, beam width of the order of 3 degrees and a built in test capability. The pilot's display in the weather mode allows the picture to be frozen for study.
