Radar technology, especially, made giant strides forward in 1976. For example, the application of the latest components and circuit techniques make possible radars that are virtually immune to false return signals due to ground and rain echoes-the bane of all previous radars. And they can now track targets maneuvering in ways that used to 'blind' earlier versions. Radar technique development is given.
