Stabilizers are often effective over a relatively narrow band of the motion-vibration frequency spectrum. The wide-band stabilizer is effective over nearly the entire spectrum. All angular inputs above 0.001 Hz are reduced, and at no point is input motion amplified by a resonance. This stabilizer is referenced to inertial space and reduces motion-vibration of an instrument over an extremely wide range of frequencies.
