The earth station is equipped with the most up to date facilities such as a 105 ft antenna with a focused beam fed system and a thermoelectrically cooled low noise receiver. In addition all the communication facilities are installed in one ground level communication equipment room. These features work together to yield many advantages for efficient and convenient operation and maintenance. The paper outlines the features of the entire configuration system and subsystem of the Ecuadorian earth station.
