With the approval of the Federal Communications Commission, Western Union is now in the process of implementing a satellite system for United States domestic traffic. This system, together with the Digital Transmission Network under contruction, will permit Western Union to offer voice, data and graphic services technically and economically superior to those presently offered to the general user, and also make available some new services.
