The current and planned ground-based capabilities to monitor, command, and control electrical power subsystem functions onboard INTELSAT-V satellites are described. Basic operational policies and general ground network command/control functions, which represent a part of the overall management of INTELSAT's space segment, is summarized. The evolution of current capabilities and various highlights of previous experiences in managing spacecraft power subsystem operations are presented. TIB-Eingnag:4.85
