This paper describes a control law that corrected a major shortcoming in the formulation and implementation of advanced guidance laws for a Bank-to-Turn missile. This control law, demonstrated on a six degree of freedom simulation, limited the miss distance to four or five feet inside the launch envelope, shortened the time of flight when compared to linear guidance, and decreased the inner launch boundary to a point where a near constant maximum control still resulted in a hit.
