This paper describes how aerodynamic six degree-of-freedom computer simulation is used in the electromagnetic vulnerability assessment of a weapon system. The important factors involved in the vulnerability assessment (e.g., the system flight, threat emitter location, threat emitter EMR characteristics, target characteristics, and weapon factors) are simulated. The computer simulations provide information on the performance degradation (e.g., miss distance) that will result from operating of the weapon system in the electromagnetic environment.
