A dual frequency (140/220 GHz) radiometer has been designed, developed, and delivered to the Naval Research Laboratory. This instrument has been used to obtain the first airborne, high resolution, low noise, passive imagery at these frequencies. It features all solid state receiver components, remote switching/operation, dual IF channels, a 220 GHz subharmonic mixer, and quasi-optical RF diplexing.
