By using specially developed microprocessors, and the larger, cheaper read-only memories (ROM's) now available, it is possible to store and reproduce the human voice electronically. With the incorporation of an additional microcomputer for process control, an all-electronic voice output system has been introduced for the first time in standard production automobiles, providing the driver with a further, readily understandable sources of information.
