Detailed desorption isotherm data of nitrogen in Molecular Sieves Type 13X and GI grade activated carbon are presented. The temperature ranged from 78.92 to 372.04 K and the pressure ranged from 0 to 20x105 N m-2. Universal correlation features for data in the temperature range 148.7 K less than T less than 273.16 K were obtained. Analytical expressions for the isotherms are presented, and relevant theoretical implications are discussed.
