The planning organs of CA must make decisions with regard to the structure of the fleet, taking into account total cost, the expected air traffic, flight frequency, the directive character of attaching certain types of aircraft to definite airline routes, and a number of other factors. Algorithms are proposed to solve large-scale linear programs arising in the choice of optimal fleet composition and allocation of aircraft over airline routes.
