In less than a decade it is likely that one-third of all oil produced will come from under the bed of the ocean. Developing the North Sea is thus only a part of an escalating world-wide project to exploit offshore resources. Advantage will attach to the enterprising, but primarily to those who quickly inform themselves and make themselves known to the contractors and operators opening up the field. This feature on North Sea engineering possibilities is expressly directed to serve this purpose.
